ONE of the oldest annual plant sales in the district takes place later this month in aid of St Petroc?s Church, Clannaborough. The plant and produce sale takes place in Copplestone School Hall, on Saturday, May 20, at 2pm. All proceeds go to the tiny enchanting church at Clannaborough, which still uses candles for lighting, and hosts regular services on the second and fourth Sunday each month.
