MEADOWLANDS Leisure Pool is going pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and is encouraging all of their participants to do the same.

On October 25 Meadowlands will be hosting 'Pink Friday' where everything from swimming to cakes will be covered in pink.

There will also be a pink session during the 50+ aquafit class between 11am and 12pm, with participants urged to wear pink and donate money to the cause

After exercising in the pool, there will be the chance to enjoy the pink cakes that will be made and displayed by the centre's café
