A LARGE box of photographs possibly belonging to a West Devon family has turned up in France. When a former Tavistock family moved to France last year they found someone else's family photos had been delivered by removals company K Worth with their own household belongings. The family, who wish to remain nameless, said: 'We left the UK at the end of March — I imagine the other family put their belongings into storage or were moving around the same time. 'There are photos which span three generations and I imagine the owners would be happy to retrieve them. 'I don't recognise where they were taken but the younger members had done the Ten Tors for the RNLI, there is a red mini (registration F792 RSG), and the family enjoy sailing.' The family are back from France in February for a brief holiday and would like to re-unite the photos with their rightful owner.
