A PRE-application has been submitted to Dartmoor National Park Authority for a housing development in Yelverton.
Developers GVD Strategic Land is proposing to build 44 homes on land off Binkham Hill, on the edge of the village, which currently comprises one agricultural field of approximately 4.2 acres.
A parish council meeting was organised by developers in order to consult locally but this was cancelled due to Covid-19. The initial layout has since been published on the developer’s website.
Calum Morris, senior planner for GVD, said: ‘This is phase one and we have provided an initial layout for the locals to see. We want to get an idea of local feedback and in the times that we are in we can only do that online.’
