MANY thanks for highlighting the pet carol service at the URC, Tavistock, on Friday. We took our grandchildren, dog and a pet rabbit and found the service most enjoyable.
Popular carols interspersed with readings, which told of the involvement of various animals in the traditional Nativity story. It was just such a shame that not many people joined us to enjoy the experience and also help support the church and the PDSA.
Courageous of the Rev Cornish to include this in his Christmas services and we hope he does so again next year.
