PETE Jarman, a member of Tavistock Athletic Club and Tavistock Swimming Club, took part in the Charlestown Triathlon near St Austell last weekend.
The triathlon started with a 200 metre sea swim followed by a four mile cycle ride to Porthpean village and back to Charlestown and finished with a two mile run.
Pete completed the triathlon in a time of 44.24.
He was first in the under 16 age group.
