RUNNER Pete Tomes is pictured presenting a cheque for £750 to staff at the Devon Air Ambulance Trust shop in Tavistock — manager Netty Packer, Elizabeth Holmes, Chrissie Peel and Mary Tomes.

Pete raised the money by running around ten miles every day for 31 days and he was accompanied by more than 100 friends at the Storm Running Club based in Plymouth who joined him on Plymouth Hoe to complete the final run, bringing the total to well over 300 miles.
