YELVERTON Golf Club ladies held a past captains' lunch and 13 hole Stableford competition.

The lunch was hosted by the ladies' captain, Elizabeth Calder while Penny Hunter was the winner of the competition with 22 points.

In the Stableford division one the winner was Bente Bergan with 41 points, runner-up, Caroline Theyer on 33; in division two the winner was Teresa Holt on 35, runner-up Sheila Brookbank on 34.

The two day Salz Trophy played as a Stableford competition was played in conjunction with the Thursday Stableford. The trophy was won by Bente Bergan with 71 points while runner-up Verna Isaac with 70 received the Emerson Cup.

The final round of the King Philip's trophy was played between Teresa Holt and Annie Hosken. This is a five round knockout match play competition, which was won by Teresa with Annie the runner-up.
