TAVISTOCK Area Support Services bade a fond farewell to Judi Thornbury recently, who, for the last five years, has developed the TASS outreach service to the success it is today.

Judi has visited hundreds of older people, filled in many attendance allowance forms and helped at the charity's eight outreach centres.

Manager at TASS Andy Lyle said: 'Judi has made a difference to so many people's lives through her caring personality and her vast knowledge.

'She has helped develop our outreach services and with thanks to her dedication, given many people hope for a brighter tomorrow.

'More recently, Judi took on the role of the voluntary rep working with statutory agencies linking people with the many voluntary services available in our area. Judi will be missed by many.'

All the staff, volunteers and clients wish Judi well as she plans to take things a little more easily.
