A COFFEE morning for animal lovers was held in Callington recently, at the home of Wendy Johnson. The PAWS for Coffee event raised £772 for Pets As Therapy, Gables Farm Dogs' and Cats' Home and Hearing Dogs for Deaf people. The sun shone on the event and the two stalls of new items and a pets' bazaar were kept busy all morning, as were those serving teas, coffees and homemade cake.   A talk and slides from Gables farm highlighting the work that they do rescuing and re-homing animals was enjoyed by everyone present. Wendy's PAT dog  Finn was there to meet and greet everyone and actually picked out the winners of the raffle prizes, to the amusement of all.
