A COFFEE morning in Callington raised £300 to be split between Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and Pets as Therapy.

The 'Paws for Coffee' morning also had a collection for Callington and District Food Bank and received 70 kilos of food, totalling over £100.

The bring and buy stall was busy and remaining clothes went to Callington Primary School, books to the Co-op for Mencap and the rest of the items to Tregarland Care Home in Tavistock.

Organisers of the event in Werrington Drive expressed thanks to all who supported the event and helpers, including Finn the dog, who is on the Pets as Therapy Read to Dogs scheme, and Tesco and Co-op for their kind donations.
