THE locally-based Mary Budding Trust was recently thanked for its support by Alan and Sheena Lewis, of Tavistock.

Their young son Paul is autistic and the trust has been one of the organisations helping his family to support him since January 2005.

Paul is pictured here riding on his 'Tag-Along' bicycle trailer which the trust helped to provide and on which he is often to be seen in Tavistock pedalling with enormous pleasure behind one of his parents.

Paul is with his parents and two members of the trust, Ann McDonald and Anthony Wates.

The Mary Budding Trust is a West Devon charity which exists to help any child with special needs under the age of 11, living locally.

It has helped children from Hatherleigh to Bere Alston.
