PAUL Batten and Bernard Rendle are still battling it out for Okehampton Smallbore Club?s Championship after 13 rounds of the county winter league on which the championship is based.
At the halfway stage, nine rounds, just one point separated them, and four rounds further on the position is still the same ? despite Bernard having a ?ton? in round 11.
Paul has scored 1263 out of possible 1300, and Bernard is on 1262.
As far as the teams are concerned, round 13 brought a bleak set of results ? one win, one draw and three defeats for the five teams.
