BURRATOR Parish Council has made grants, totalling £1,880, to a number of community groups.

Among the beneficiaries were Walkham Scout Group, the new Meavy After School Club, Burrator Twinning Association, Lady Modiford's School and Walkhampton Memorial Hall.

The parish precept for 2013-14 will remain at £4,250.
