A NEW exhibition is being hosted by Dartmoor National Park Authority's High Moorland Visitor Centre in Princetown. The exhibition, entitled 'Moor', is on display from Friday, November 24 to January 10, 2007, and is a culmination of 12 months' work by Somerset artists Pennie Elfick and Jenny Graham. The artists have been exploring Dartmoor for the past year, gathering visual information about the moor and its environs for the exhibition. Jenny is a figurative landscape painter, whose work is based on the comparison between the agricultural field patterns and the wildness of the moor, and Pennie is an abstract painter, whose work is informed by the transient nature of the light in the landscape. 'Moor' will be on tour in the South West during 2007. The visitor centre is open daily from 10 am to 4pm, admission is free.
