THIS year's sixth form at Mount House School has achieved outstanding scholarship results, with 12 pupils winning a total of 14 awards.

Three pupils will be moving to Bryanston. Wilf Hadow has won an all-rounder scholarship, Max Hayward has been awarded an all-rounder and music exhibition, and Elsa Kent an all-rounder and academic scholarship.

Head girl Flora Wordie, Lucy Massey and Georgina Morris will be joining Sherborne Girls with music, all-rounder and academic scholarships respectively.

Will Partington will join Sherborne School with a major sport scholarship, and Rory Millar has been awarded a William Yates scholarship to Sherborne.

Francesca Thornton-Wood and Lucy Walliker have both won sports scholarships to Blundell's, where they will be joined by Bethan Wesley with an art scholarship.

William Stone will be a pupil at Winchester, having been awarded an exhibition to the college. Only about six such awards are made annually.
