STUDENTS of a West Devon dance school are celebrating after achieving outstanding results in recent dance examinations.

Miss Trudi's School of Dance in Tavistock, now in its 17th year, had 93 entrants for its dance exams and not only was there a 100% pass rate but pupils received great results.

Graded ballet, tap and modern dancing exams were taken in preliminary, grade one, grade two, grade three and grade four, alongside Theatrical Rainbow Awards and Pot of Gold Awards for the three to seven year olds.

Between them, the students achieved 43 awards of top marks of distinction, 26 awards of merit and 24 awards of good passes.

Over the past three years, Miss Trudi has herself been attending dance training courses and updating her dancing qualifications and is delighted to see how this has helped her pupils to achieve high marks.
