DISABLED people living in West Devon who are interested in the arts are being offered the chance to join a unique training scheme.

Following on from the success of the first Disability Equality: Training the Trainers programme, Equata are now offering the opportunity for up to a further ten disabled people to become future trainers in disability equality.

The programme runs between January and July 2002, and comprises residential modules, ongoing course work, study and work experience. The modules have been designed to give students the knowledge which could lead to employment within the arts sector or in equal opportunities training.
