ORGANISERS of the new season of the Mount Kelly Concert Society have said the opening event was a resounding success.

The evening featured the talents of the Resurrection Choir St Petersburg. This choir of soloists performed sacred and secular works from the Russian tradition to a near capacity audience at St Eustachius’ Church in Tavistock.

The event was run by the Mount Kelly music scholars from the college, who said they were privileged to experience this beautiful and dramatic musical style.
