TWO West Devon gardens will be open to the public this weekend.

Cleave House at Sticklepath, home to more than 1,000 varieties of Hosta, will be open on Saturday June 26 from 10.30am until 5pm. Admission £2.50.

And Alder House at Lewdown, with its own vineyard and lake, will be open on Sunday June 27 between 2pm and 6pm. Admission £3, children free. Both gardens are open for charity.
