AN open evening at Tavistock College was held last Wednesday, to give prospective parents an insight into the different subjects and activities available at the college. The new principal Colin Eves addressed the parents and highlighted the school?s ?excellent? facilities, including the brand new language building . As the evening continued, parents were invited into classrooms where different activities were taking place. In all the departments, visitors were able to see the development of students? work as they have advanced through their education. The guests also had the opportunity to test their skills on the sports climbing wall, supervised by the college?s experienced young climbers. Mr Eves rounded off the evening by saying a big ?well done? to everyone who was involved in organising the hugely successful open evening.
