AN organisation promoting confidence, self-esteem and independence among differently-able people will throw its gates wide open for an open day on Thursday, April 7.

Made-Well, based at West Fishleigh Farm near Hatherleigh, provides a range of constructive, purposeful and positive ’day opportunities’ for its clients, designed to promote personal growth by providing activities in leisure and life learning skills.

Clients learn about horticulture, cookery, animal care, willow craft, therapeutic arts and countryside management as they help to run the dedicated horticulture site. The project is an inclusive organisation with an ethos of encouraging full participation irrespective of age, background, qualifications, training or ability.

The open day runs from 10am to 3pm with drop-in sessions throughout the day.
