Tavistock U13s 17 Crediton U13s 22 THIS second meeting of these well-matched sides saw the visitors snatch victory in the last three minutes. Tavistock opened the scoring when flanker Dan Oner finished off five phases of play. Crediton used their back line to great effect and soon levelled by moving the ball out wide at speed. The strong backs of the away side kept running at Tavistock and found huge holes in the defence to pull ahead. The Tavistock forwards fought back, rucking and mauling Crediton backwards to their line where prop George Harold bulldozed over. Before the turnaround Dan Oner broke through a maul 30 metres out and took route one to score between the posts and put Tavistock back in front. Crediton ran around the forwards and straight through the backs to level the score early in the second half. Relief for Tavistock's beleaguered defence arrived in the form of Elliott Northmore who made two try-saving tackles within five minutes of coming on. The forwards continued the battle, Tavistock pushing Crediton back into their own half from the 22. Crediton?s superior back line broke the stalemate with a crossfield move. This weekend the U13s are on tour in Leicester.
