RESIDENTS in East Cornwall who suffer with certain types of illnesses are being sought to take part in a new TV documentary.
The programme will follow people who have illnesses that you can hide, like Alopecia and Narcolepsy, in their quest to find love, and trying to deal with the question 'when do we tell first dates everything about us?'
Production company Betty is making the documentary for the TLC Channel and is looking in and around five or six under-represented areas of the UK, and East Cornwall is one of those areas.
Single people who feel their love life has been affected by a medical condition or physical disability may not, as a result, be entirely comfortable about being open about their condition when they first meet potential partners.
Throughout the series, contributors will be raising awareness about their conditions and TLC hopes the show will challenge pre-conceptions that may exist, and to sensitively portray their search for love and growth in confidence and inspire others in similar situations.
If you want to be involved in the TV documentary email [email protected]">[email protected]
Applicants must be over 18 years old.
