A BUNCH of footsore but determined charity walkers are due to step out on the last leg of a 140-mile sponsored walk from Clearbrook today (Thursday).
The 26 walkers have been taking part in an event to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Relief and the Mustard Tree cancer support centre at Derriford Hospital and have taken in a route which started at Barnstaple on August 1 and took in Dorset and Somerset and the rolling hills of Exmoor, the Quantocks and Dartmoor.
The walk has been organised by Plympton resident Roger Coleman.
The last leg of the walk is from Clearbrook to Plympton, following the cycle trail.
