BUCKLAND Monachorum Village Hall Committee has organised a ?Fungus Foray? walk and breakfast this Sunday, October 1, led by David Simkins. Any mushrooms or fungi found during the two-hour walk will be taken back to the village hall for identification and suitable specimens cooked for brunch. The walk starts from the car park at the top of Down Lane at 9am. Contact 01822 855336 to book a place. Tickets are £3 for adults and £1.50 for children. All money raised will go towards the village hall?s kitchen fund.
