THIS weekend why not try your hand at a spot of sailing? Weir Quay Sailing Club have an open day on Saturday for anyone who wants to try dingy sailing and find out what club is about. Organisers promise a free barbeque as well. Weir Quay Sailing Club, on the banks of the Tamar is holding an open evening and barbecue for anyone who would like to try dinghy sailing on Saturday, starting at 5.30pm. Cathy Sharp, a spokewoman for the club, asked those interested to please register interest on 01822 840257 by tomorrow (Friday, June 15) so organisers can make sure there is enough food!
