IT was time to celebrate when Sarah Jenks (left) from Whitchurch heard she had clinched an amazing 12 A* grades.
The Plymouth College weekly boarder will return to college in the coming term to study five A Levels ? English, French, German, music and art ? and is well on course for achieving her dream of going to Oxford and ultimately becoming a professional opera singer.
A mezzo-soprano, Sarah also plays the piano, tenor saxophone and violin.
She is seen with her elder sister Helen ? also a Plymouth College pupil ? who gained three A levels and is going to Oxford to study medicine in October.
