AGE Concern Devon will be showcasing their services at West Devon Connect's regular drop in outreach sessions during September.
The main focus will be on promoting the nationwide More Money in your Pocket campaign which was launched nationally in July and supported by actress Barbara Windsor.
It is aiming to get an extra £100-million into the pockets of 50,000 older people over the next year.
Each year older people miss out on up to £5-billion of unclaimed benefits. Age Concern Devon's campaign has received a boost as they have received a grant from British Gas to support their work in the county's rural communities and a large focus of this work will be in and around the West Devon area.
If you are unable to attend an event and would like to find out more about this campaign or other services please call 0845 2967810.
There is also an opportunity to enter the monthly free prize draw to win either £1.000 or a holiday.
