Launceston U10s 35

Okehampton U10s 0

OKEHAMPTON's first match of the season started well with lots of spirited effort. A solid tackle from captain and player of the match Will Risdon, stopped Launceston's first run for the try line.

The first contested scrum saw Launceston put the ball in and with a determined push Oke's hooked the ball to win, but with the damp conditions the ball went loose, Launceston seized their chance and scored.

From then Okehampton were on the defence with more, great tackling from Kai, Daniel, Lewis and Gareth.

During the second half frustration took over which allowed Launceston to take advantage of penalties given.

There was some good team work particularly from Alex and Tom.

Tavistock U10s 25

Plymstock U10s 30

IN two exciting and hard fought games, Tavistock showed great commitment and team spirit. They just failed to win the first game but scored some great individual tries from Jack Smyly, Jude White and Freddie Grier Rees.

Good work from the new arrival Archie Allen, set the team up well but some simple lost ball by the whole team meant that Tavistock gave away possession too easily.

The tackling was superb, especially from Joe Burbage and Lochlan Fulton but also from Cian Benny and Ollie Noy Scott.
