FOR the first ten minutes the teams did not stray far from the centre of the field with good passing and handling.

Bude should have opened the scoring with a penalty for handling in the ruck but the kick drifted wide.

Okehampton forwards kept the ball in hand with a succession of pick and drives with George eventually peeling off the back to score under the posts which Zac converted.

Through the next run of play the Okehampton backs worked the ball out to Kyler on the wing to score in the corner.

Okehampton came out strong in the second half with a great run by Paddy, with Jake in support, but lost the ball which Bude picked up and ran back through the hole slipping some tackles to score under the posts.

Okehampton's next try came from the re-start with a hard drive from the forwards then fed out down the line for Andrew to score the first of his two tries.

Okehampton kept the pressure up and from  a tap penalty five metres out  Paddy was able to score. From an interception Will took a loose pass and then with a couple of good hand offs and strong running he dotted the ball down under the posts converted by Zac, this was followed by a cross field kick by Luke into the corner of which both Ryan and Will  chased down beating the defence and the ball bounced up for Will to score in the corner which he also converted.

It was then Bude's turn to score with Tom Clogg crossing the line on the second attempt.

The final passage of play came when Zac caught a high ball and weaved his way through the opposition to score converted by Will.
