Okehampton United Charities have presented cheques of £24,300 to Okehampton Community Recreation Association (OCRA) and £15,000 to the Okehampton Gym and Trampoline and DMT Club.

Karen Percival from the charities is pictured in the first picture presenting the cheque to Jill Jolley, Lyn Evans and Robin Catling from OCRA and in the second picture, to Vicki Pritchard, the head coach of the gym club.

Lyn Evans said Okehampton United Charities had been extremely valuable supporters of OCRA for many years and the grant would be of significant help to cover the core function costs for this financial year. ‘In all, thousands of sport and recreation participants benefit from the activities we develop, implement and coordinate for the benefit of our community,’ he said. ‘We really appreciate the continuing support from Okehampton United Charities for the work that we do.’
