PRETORIA Cup final — Moretonhampstead A beat Moretonhampstead B 6-4 in the final of the handicap competition.
Moretonhampstead A had a handicap of ten points, which made all the games close and hard-fought. Several games could have gone either way and the match was decided on the last doubles match.
Not only did both Moretonhampstead teams make it through to the final, the two teams were made up from three fathers and sons playing against each other — Ken Underhill, Robert Howarth, Kevin Shilston (A team) Richard Underhill, Chris Howarth, Dave Shilston (B team).
