THE first game was closely fought with excellent tagging and end to end running by both teams.
A fine solo effort by Harry for Okehampton secured a 5-5 scoreline at half time. The second half continued in a similar fashion with two more tries apiece, for the evenly contended match to finish 7-7.

THE second game saw Okehampton get their first away win.
There were impressive ball handling skills displayed by everyone, but especially Daniel who picked up a loose ball to dash across the line. Okehampton went into half time in the lead and built on this, showing their superior fitness over the Exmouth team, scoring nine tries in total for well earned win.

OKEHAMPTON played two matches away at Exmouth, drawing one and winning one. Lapses in concentration could have cost them dear, as Exmouth attacked time after time, following Okehampton mistakes on a poor pitch.
Tries by Charlie Glanville, Joshua Burgoyne, Will Cunningham, Angus Haygarth (2) and Cole Pengelly (3) kept Okehampton in a match that they could have lost through poor pitch preparation and line markings, which caused confusion throughout the first match and which denied Okehampton four tries.
Good defence from James Close, David Smith and Saul Holliday kept Exmouth out.

AFTER overcoming pitch problems, Okehampton coasted to a comfortable score against a relatively inexperienced Exmouth team.
Tries by Will Cunningham (2), Joshua Burgoyne and Cole Pengelly (3) rounded off a good all round performance. Notable tagging and attacking from Daniel Tomkins, Angus Haygarth, James Stevens and Harry and Jake Laing-Taylor kept Exmouth out.
