LAST Friday morning I parked my Nissan Micra car at the lower end of Pixon Lane Car Park. When I returned an hour and a half later, it was to find that my car and three others were completely boxed in by four cars in front and four cars behind us. There was plenty of space at the upper end of the car park. My shopping was heavy and I was unable to drive home so I went to the police station where the officers were most helpful and did what they could within their powers. The car park is the property of the town council so perhaps they could be persuaded to have car bays clearly marked in the car park. I would appeal to the better natures of the owners of those eight cars who caused so much inconvenience to others through their crass stupidity and senseless behaviour, but I strongly suspect they have none. It might have been April Fool?s Day but it wasn?t jokey and I wasn?t laughing. Through your pages, may I ask that in future drivers act in a sensible and considerate manner to ensure that this distressing situation does not arise again?
