A CALLINGTON nursery has received an unexpected bonus, thanks to customers at a local supermarket. 

Tesco customers handed in 4,868 schools vouchers towards new play equipment for Coombe Valley Nursery. 

Manager of the nursery Nic Olver expressed thanks to Tesco Callington and the local community for raising so many vouchers for the nursery.

'We are planning on spending the vouchers on outdoor resources to help us continue developing our learning environment outside as well as indoors,' she said.
