THE problem of nuisance neighbours is to be tackled more effectively under a new agreement between police, local authorities and housing associations.
The new protocol, which covers the West and South Devon policing area, means information can be shared to prevent and detect crime or deal with any anti-social behaviour by residents.
Sgt Dave Anning, who is based at Okehampton, said much hard work had gone into drawing up an agreement with which everyone was happy.
