Kelly College was celebrating a great set of results as last term's speech and drama grades were received.
Speech and drama has been taught at Kelly for the last 14 years by Vanessa McCarty and for the last six years, public speaking has formed part of the curriculum for everyone in the lower sixth.
Students take oral exams with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) and have always enjoyed well above average results.
The most recent results bring the year's total (2009/2010) to 410 examinations taken — 21 of which were at grade 8. Many of the exams taken were grade 6 and above, all of which earn UCAS points which can be claimed from 2009.
