North Okes U11s 66 North Dorset U11s 7 NORTH Okes scored within minutes of the kick off with a fine run by Marcus Hoddinott, followed by another quick try by Daniel Fogerty. Lineouts were not a problem for Luke Shinn, finding Ben Sharp and Daniel Squires every time. Charlie White and George Courtier showed great strength in their scrummaging allowing the backs to run riot over North Dorset, notching up four more tries before a slight slump in the game allowed the opposition to score their only try. Fullback Jack Davey ran some great lines for North Okes and was always in position for those high kicks. Robbie, Rhys and Jake also bagged themselves a try. North Okes U11s 21 Exeter Chiefs U11s 21 North Okes set off for Sandy Park for their last game of the season expecting a tough rematch after losing to the Chiefs in the festival 7-0. Both sides started furiously but Chiefs scored early. North Okes came straight back with a try of their own. Chiefs were penalised for killing the ball and Charlie White took the penalty, punching a hole up the middle allowing the backs to run for Foggy to go over the line. At half time North Okes were leading 14-7 but Chiefs with their big forwards. Big tackles from Ollie Francis and Rhys Palmer did not allow them to make too much ground. Daniel Squires and Tom Pengelly cleaned up for North Okes' backs to allow them a third try. A bad tempered game unfolded with both sides desperate to win; the Chiefs centre went over leaving them just seven points adrift, North Okes defended brilliantly but an interception by Chiefs levelled the score just before the whistle. North Okes U11s 7 Exeter Chiefs U11s 0 Extra time was played to allow Chiefs to play some of their larger squad. North Okes were without fly half Marcus Hoddinott due to a bang to the head and Ben Sharp was off with a shoulder injury but they played some of their best rugby of the season. Much to Chiefs' disappointment North Okes sneaked in a try in the final minute. This was a nail biting finish to a tremendous season by the North Okes boys.
