DUE to the foot and mouth crisis, Okehampton Netball League have not played any matches since February.
At a meeting held on March 27, it was decided to abandon the league and hopefully resume in September with the teams remaining in the same divisions.
When the final matches were played on February 20, Falcons were well on their way to winning division I, having won all of their matches.
In Division 2, Hatherleigh I were the only team not to have dropped a point and would have been the probable winners, despite close competition from two of the school teams, Bits 'n Pieces and Tornadoes.
There will be no presentation evening this year, but the annual meeting will go ahead on Tuesday June 19 at 7.30pm in the sixth form centre at Okehampton College. Everyone welcome.
