CHAGFORD'S miserable start to life in a new League continued as they returned to Bow for this match. Hampered by injuries and absences, their misery was further compounded by the loss of the influential Robbie Miller, in the first 15 minutes.
Goals from Will Hawkins and Mark Leach gave the hosts victory. Andrew Davis had struck an equaliser but hopes were dashed by the home winner towards the end.
n With a home game against Sidbury United on Saturday (3pm), Chagford hope to welcome back a couple of key players and secure their first points of the season.

GOALS from Simon Ralph, Will Cork and Mark Williams could not prevent Chagford's second string from falling to a home defeat. Nick Elliott-Shircore made a rare but useful appearance in the heart of defence and his colleagues strived to turn the tide, to no avail.
