COLOURFUL, well tended hanging baskets of flowers have been an added attraction for Tavistock town centre this summer.

They were augmented for carnival week by the cheerful bunting of the Lions’Club. But the flower baskets were taken down in the week before Goose Fair and the bunting disappeared in the week after the carnival.

Those cheerful displays would have been an added pleasant feature for the visiting crowds on Goose Fair day. Next year perhaps?
