THE West Devon and Plymouth Talking Newspaper will be holding a workshop and tea for all their volunteers on Wednesday (March 27).

The event, in the Lower Hall at Tavistock Methodist Church, is at 3pm and guest speaker will be Jessica Thurtell, who worked for the BBC World Service and produced her own programme 'A Little Light Music' and the Radio London programme for the visually impaired, 'Guideline'.

Her workshop will offer presentation skills for the Talking Newspaper readers, drawing on her experience as a broadcaster and teacher.
