THE New Year began at Tavistock's Kelly Prep School with the announcement that Tom Brew will be the new head boy.

 Tom, who lives in Tavistock, has proved himself to be an outstanding all-rounder at Kelly.

In addition to his academic achievements, he represents the school at swimming and holds many of the school records for his age group.
