A NEW website offering help and advice to victims of domestic violence has been launched in West Devon.
The site ? http://www.takeastand.org.uk">www.takeastand.org.uk ? provides information on the work of West Devon Women?s Aid Outreach Project and is a confidential link for victims of violence in the home.
The outreach project was set up 18 months ago after three years of funding was secured by West Devon Community Safety Partnership.
A team of eight fully trained volunteers offer support and arrange face-to-face meetings for victims in need, as well as providing training for other agencies.
The website was launched at a recent community safety seminar in Tavistock, which featured discussions on topics such as drugs work with young people and vehicle crime.
