TAVISTOCK ladies played their first match at Crowndale and included new signings Payne and Turner in midfield spot and Gordon and Weeks up front.
Unfortunately after five minutes, an ambulance was called for a Stoke Gabriel player and went a player short.
Stock was strong in goal for Tavistock and Maloney along with the defence dealt with everything.
Weeks came close twice for Tavistock but shot wide. Despite Gordon's hard running a lapse in concentration with the back four resulted in a goal for Stoke Gabriel and Tavistock went into the break a goal down.
The second half saw Tavistock Emily John come on and it was not long before her tackles kept play upfield.
Blowey gained confidence with some superb running and ball skills. She forced a corner, which she took herself leading to Turner levelling the scores.
It was Blowey again who crossed in to force an own goal; a third came from her to cross over for Weeks to slam home.
The fourth goal was a great run by Blowey who ran inside and popped the ball into the side of the goal.
Glasspoole and Shaw were once again outstanding for Tavistock.
Tavistock CFC remain top of the premier division.
The Ladies are at home again on Sunday either on Langsford Park or Crowndale with a 3pm kick off.
