AFTER another good performance in South West 1, the new season beckons for Tavistock men?s hockey club.

The sides are looking to bring the ?up and coming? younger players into the mainstream and after running two successful sides in the summer mixed leagues, all looks well for the season.

Tavistock men?s 1st and 2nd XI start their squad training session on Saturday August 30. Training will be at the Kelly College Astro starting at 4.30pm. Any new players are welcome and encouraged to come along and join a developing and forward-thinking club.

Club training starts Thursday August 28 at Kelly College, starting at 7pm for juniors and 7.30 for seniors. All age groups are welcome as well as abilities.

The junior side of the club has grown over recent seasons and it is hoped to progress on this dimension with another U15 Devon League side.
