NEW look information boards telling people the history of Kit Hill are to be put up at the beauty spot at the cost of £6,000.

Cllr Jeremy Gist reported at Callington Town Council meeting last week that the signs, of which there are around 15, were now showing their age and the new signs would incorporate new a number of new features.

He said funding had been secured to prepare and install the signs.

'There will be a lot more information and some of it will be in Cornish as well,' he said.

'We hope they will be in situ in the next couple of weeks.'
