PLANS are in the pipeline to enhance a West Devon organisation aimed at amateur sports clubs across the borough.

According to West Devon Council?s Ian Hancock, sports development officer, a new programme of events has been drawn up to make a significant difference to the way West Devon Sports Forum is run.

Membership of the forum means sports clubs gain access to support to ease the strain of running their groups. Members also get advice on funding, coach education and recruitment, along with many other benefits.

Ian said: ?The forum is a vital opportunity for groups to get together and share information and we want to make these meetings as valuable as possible for everyone.?
