PEOPLE are invited to get into the Christmas spirit and join in some festive fun at an 'Upcycling' workshop at the Tamar Valley Centre on Saturday December 10.
The event will be a great chance to recycle any old clothes and material and turn them into wonderful Christmas decorations.
The workshop is being run by Rebecca Coombes from the Saltash Upcycling Group.
Rebecca said: 'Upcycling is an even more environmentally friendly way of recycling — you turn your unwanted items into something new, instead of throwing them away. Come and join us and make something truly unique to hang from your tree this year.'
The event runs from 10am to 4pm, and costs £25 per person.
Bring along old clothes and materials to cut up, and lunch. Other refreshments throughout the day will be provided.
The Tamar Valley Centre is five minutes' walk from Gunnislake Train Station.
Booking in advance is essential. To book a place contact the Tamar Valley AONB on 01822 835030 or email [email protected]">[email protected]
